With their #3 Lamborghini teammates Warren Gilbert and Fraser Fenwick also making it a Topcats Racing 1-2 (overall and in class) and additional title wins across the sprint and sporting challenges, it completes a fantastic year for the team overall.

We've been working with Tom since before he started his sports car journey in GT Cup back in 2021, after multiple successful seasons in the JCW class of MINI Challenge. It has therefore been fantastic to see him come full circle and dominate this year's edition of GT Cup after two years away racing in the prestigious British GT series.

Tom and Charlotte hit it off immediately as team mates back at the opening round of the season, and along with all team members have executed each round in a near perfect manner to bring home 26 wins over the course of the season between the two crews. In addition to dominating the GTC category they've frequently mixed it up with GT3 and GTO spec cars in the class above, which are theoretically faster in terms of outright performance.

Charlotte becomes the first female racer to win the GT Cup title overall and Topcats Racing are the first team to complete a clean sweep of all available championships, which are both excellent entries to have in the UK motorsport record books!

While some rounds this season have featured slightly smaller grids due to calendar clashes and team availability, the quality at the front of the field has been strong; with regular appearances from the likes of British GT stalwarts Abba Racing running Ian Loggie and Richard Nearly in GTO class.

Tom: What an amazing season, the car has been prepared for us awesomely all season by the guys and girls at Topcats Racing, allowing us to excel out on track. A special thank you to my team mate and partner in crime this year Charlotte Gilbert, who has been outstanding all season and becomes the first female driver to be crowned GT Cup champion. We did it Charlotte!

Charlotte: Myself and Tom are overall champions and a very proud moment for me in becoming the series first overall female winner. My husband Warren winning the sprint challenge, he and Fraser winning the sporting challenge plus runners up in the overall championship, as well as winning he team championship gives us a clean sweep! Massive thanks must go to our team, without you all none of this would have happened.
